NYCC Women's Race Team

Our mission

The mission of NYCC Women’s Racing is to make bicycle racing accessible to a broader group of women in the tri-state area. We do this by empowering more women to join a challenging and rewarding sport, providing support and encouragement for those who may be interested in racing but who are unfamiliar with--or intimidated--by by its demands or status as a male-dominated activity.

    Sofi CAMACHO

One day, Sofi's commuter bike got stolen, and decided to buy a road bike so she could be as fast as the riders she saw in central park. She fell in love with it, and met many wonderful people who encouraged her to start racing! Sofi is the newest member of our team and excited for the 2018 season.
